Shipping Info

Rumah Flava partners with 30+ couriers via Biteship to reach all of Indonesia. Choose a courier that fits your budget and speed needs.

Available Couriers

At checkout, the system automatically shows courier options + shipping costs based on weight and destination:

  • Regular (2-5 days): JNE, J&T Express, SiCepat, AnterAja, ID Express, POS Indonesia, Ninja Express, TIKI
  • Express / Same Day (1 day): JNE YES, TIKI ONS, AnterAja Next Day
  • Cargo (for large/bulk items): JNE Trucking, Lion BigPack, J&T Cargo
  • Instant Greater Jakarta: Gojek, Grab, Borzo (while stock is available in Jakarta)

Delivery Time Estimates

Estimates from our warehouse in Klaten, Central Java to various regions:

  • Greater Jakarta & Java: 1-3 business days
  • Sumatra, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara: 3-5 business days
  • Kalimantan, Sulawesi: 4-7 business days
  • Maluku, Papua, East Nusa Tenggara: 7-14 business days

Estimates exclude holidays and depend on courier conditions. Real-time tracking can be monitored via the tracking link in the shipping email.

How Shipping Costs Are Calculated

Shipping cost is calculated based on:

  • Weight: rounded up per 1 kg (e.g. 1.2 kg becomes 2 kg)
  • Volume (for large packages): if the volume is greater than the actual weight, volumetric weight is used
  • Distance: zones based on the origin & destination postal codes
  • Courier service: Regular vs Express differ in price

Cash on Delivery (COD)

Pay on the spot when the package arrives. Available for all couriers that support COD (JNE, J&T, SiCepat, AnterAja, Ninja, POS, ID Express).

COD note: there's an additional admin fee (~3-4% of the total) deducted from the payment. Make sure you have exact change when the courier arrives.

Packaging

  • Every package is wrapped in at least 1 layer of bubble wrap
  • Thick cardboard boxes for packages of more than 1 book
  • Waterproof plastic for extra protection
  • For the Qur'an & mushaf: extra-careful packaging

Shipment Tracking

After the package is picked up by the courier, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with:

  • Tracking number (AWB)
  • Real-time tracking link
  • Estimated arrival

Order status can also be monitored on the My Orders page.

Package Not Arriving / Problems

If the package doesn't arrive within the estimated time or arrives damaged:

  1. First check the status on the tracking link — info is sometimes delayed
  2. If it's more than 2x the estimate, contact us via WhatsApp/Email
  3. Include your order number for a faster response
  4. If damaged, photograph the package condition before opening it — a return can be filed within 7 days (see the return policy)

International Shipping

At this time Rumah Flava does not yet offer international shipping. We focus on serving customers throughout Indonesia.
